HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN BE CATERED FOR AT A FUNCTION?

1 – 2000

DO YOU NEED POWER?

No, we can be completely self sufficient if required, which is more economical as generators etc will incur additional costs. Deep fryers requiring a lot of power require 10 KVA power.

HOW MUCH SPACE DO YOU NEED?

This is determined on the style and size of the function as and how much subsequent equipment we may need. We need enough room (minimum) for a standard size trailer and a 3m x 3m marquee. If your function is larger we highly recommend having one of our experienced staff personally visit your site  for a more accurate estimate.

CAN WE MOVE THE OVEN WHEN YOU ARE GONE?

No, the ovens are approximately 2 tons and can cause serious injury and damage to property if not handled appropriately, so once delivered the oven is not to be moved. If the oven is moved and damaged you could be held liable

WHAT DO YOU BRING WITH YOU?

We consider ourselves a travelling kitchen and can be completely self-sufficient so while we appreciate the use of water and electricity it is not necessary. Our equipment will depend on the event as each is different, however common items include our woodfire oven, deep friers, trestle tables and tablecloths, marquee and napkins.

DO YOU REQUIRE A COMMERCIAL KITCHEN?

No, we consider ourselves a travelling kitchen and can work in almost any condition and location. However, especially for larger events it can really help if is a time-sensitive event.

DO YOU COOK ONSITE OR JUST HEAT THE FOOD?

We cook 90% onsite although with some food it is just not possible, especially for the long-distance events.

DO YOU BRING NAPKINS?

This is dependent on your function style, for finger food we will bring cocktail napkins. For sit-down events eg 50/50 service or platters to tables, we can supply paper or linen napkins at an additional charge.

CAN YOU CATER FOR DIFFERENT DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?

Yes, we pride ourselves on our ability to cater for all dietary requirements no matter how challenging. We want all guests to go home feeling satisfied.

HOW MUCH PIZZA DOES EACH PERSON RECEIVE?

We recommend 1 pizza per person for our pizza packages, our pizzas are a 9-inch base cut into 6 pieces. However, if you order a finger food package and include wood fire pizzas each person will on average receive 2 pieces of pizza per person.

WHAT SIZE IS YOUR PIZZA?

Our pizzas are a 9 inch base.

HOW MANY STAFF DO YOU BRING?

This is dependent on the size and style of your event, please speak with one of our friendly staff for more accurate assessment.

WILL THERE BE ENOUGH FOOD?

Our packages are specially designed to make sure no one goes hungry and we pride ourselves on that.

CAN YOU PROVIDE CROCKERY AND CUTLERY?

Yes, we can provide crockery, cutlery, glassware, napkins and much, much more.

WHAT TIME WILL YOU ARRIVE?

We will arrive between 1 and 2.5 hours prior depending on how much set up is required, eg you may want us to set tables.

DO YOU NEED FRIDGE SPACE?

No, we have our own food grade eskies and icepacks to keep all food at the required temperature and can gain access to cool rooms if necessary.

HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL

We travel all over Victoria, even into NSW and South Australia.

WHAT DO YOU COOK IN THE WOOD FIRED OVENS?

We can cook almost anything in the woodfire ovens from Roast beef, to Lamb Cutlets and of course our delicious wood fire pizzas.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

We work in almost any conditions and a little rain doesn’t scare us. We will always have our marquee to set up should it rain. However, in extreme circumstances we may have to postpone the event to prevent any injury.

DO YOU OFFER BAR STAFF?

We do have Bar Staff at an hourly rate and we also have full Beverage Packages which include bar staff, glassware, beverages and ice.

DO YOU OFFER ALCOHOL?

Yes we have many beverage packages available to you.

CAN I HIRE ALL MY EQUIPMENT FROM YOU?

Yes, we can be your one-stop-shop for all your equipment needs – we have many suppliers who can help with anything you might need.

DO YOU OFFER TASTING SESSIONS?

We plan Tasting Nights once a month (minimum) sometimes often due to demand. The cost of $75 per person (x 2 guests) is credited from your final invoice should you book your event with us.

HOW DO I LOCK IN MY DATE?

A small deposit, details of which are included at the bottom of your quote will confirm your function date only. This does confirm your food which can be amended/updated until a month prior to the event.

DOES THE MENU CHANGE?

Yes, we are constantly updating our menu with our next one due on the 1 July 2023. We like to be inventive and sample new menu items at our Tasting Nights for your consideration.
